Terms of Service
The rules for using Signal Vector, including accounts, research outputs, subscriptions, and acceptable use.
Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Signal Vector, including the website, dashboard, review intelligence features, billing workflows, and related services.
By creating an account, signing in, starting a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use Signal Vector on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
The service
Signal Vector is an App Store review intelligence product for app builders, founders, studios, and research teams. The service analyzes public App Store reviews, ratings, app metadata, and derived data to surface complaint clusters, opportunity scores, summaries, saved research, and monitoring workflows.
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs through your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep access credentials secure.
You may not share access in a way that avoids plan limits, misrepresents usage, or creates security risk.
Acceptable use
You may use Signal Vector only for lawful research, product, market analysis, and business purposes. You may not use the service to violate laws, infringe rights, scrape or copy the product interface at scale, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, interfere with service operation, bypass access controls, or attempt to extract data beyond intended product workflows.
You may not use Signal Vector outputs to harass individuals, target reviewers, mislead consumers, or make claims that are not supported by your own independent analysis.
Research outputs
Signal Vector uses public App Store data and model-assisted analysis to generate summaries, clusters, scores, and other research outputs. These outputs are informational research aids. They are not guarantees of market demand, revenue, downloads, ranking, customer acquisition, or product success.
You are responsible for validating any opportunity, business decision, investment, acquisition, roadmap choice, or product claim before acting on it.
Ownership
You retain ownership of information you submit to Signal Vector, such as saved research notes, preferences, and workspace configuration. You grant Signal Vector the rights needed to host, process, display, and use that information to provide and improve the service.
Signal Vector and its licensors retain all rights in the service, including software, interface, scoring methods, workflows, branding, and non-public product technology.
Billing and subscriptions
Paid plans renew according to the billing terms shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us and Stripe to charge applicable fees, taxes, and recurring subscription amounts for the plan you select.
You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing settings or customer portal when available. Unless required by law or expressly stated at checkout, fees are non-refundable and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Third-party services
Signal Vector relies on third-party services for hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, AI processing, and data infrastructure. Your use of those features may also be subject to provider terms, including Google sign-in and Stripe payment processing terms.
We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay amounts owed, or use the service in a way that could harm Signal Vector, other users, third-party providers, or the public.
You may stop using Signal Vector at any time. Some provisions, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms, survive termination.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signal Vector disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any research output will be complete, current, or suitable for your specific purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signal Vector will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or lost opportunities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signal Vector's total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Signal Vector for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars if you have not paid for the service.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Signal Vector harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your misuse of research outputs.
Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless applicable consumer law requires a different governing law.
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve disputes informally by contacting us through the support channel available in the product or on the website.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the product changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of Signal Vector after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
